Street Churros opened a new outlet in Empire Shopping Gallery one month ago and it is their 6th outlet! I can see that more and more people are addicted to churros and I am clearly one of them. Street Churros started in South Korea and churro is a type of street food. Street Churros uses fresh and premium ingredients from Korea to provide the best quality food for customers.
They use a traditional Spanish churro recipe to ensure blissful texture and freshness in every bite! I tried their original flavor churro long time ago and it was good! Their churros are crispy at the outside and soft at the inside. I do not like churros that are really oily.
You can also find Street Churros in One Utama Mall, IOI City Mall, Sky Avenue, Berjaya Times Square and MyTown! You can always buy churros and eat while shopping. Isn't that the best thing ever? They have so many types of churros and it might be a hard time for you to choose.
The worker will straight away fry the churros and they do not pre-fried them! Another worker will dip churros in the sugar mixture right after the churros are cooked. You might need to wait a while for your churro but trust me, it is all worth it.
There are 5 types of churros and 3 set menus for you to choose from. They also serve coffee, milkshake and other beverages too. Their churros and beverages are all below RM10 unless you order the set menu. I felt that the price are affordable and not overly priced.
Street Churros (RM5.90) - They are three types of coatings which are Cinnamon, Chocolate and Cheese. My favorite churros got to be their Cinnamon churros. The cinnamon taste is strong and it was not too sweet for my liking. No wonder their best seller is Cinnamon Churros! Their chocolate flavoured churro was not bad too. All of their churros were coated evenly and you can definitely taste the flavor in every bite.
Dipping Sauce (+RM1.90) - There are four dipping sauces which are Cream Cheese, Blueberry, Chocolate and Butterscotch. You just need to pay another RM1.90 for the dipping sauce when you order their Street Churros or Stick Churros. I tried their blueberry and chocolate sauce and I liked it. The dipping sauces were not overly sweet.
Filling Churros (RM7.90) - There are three types of fillings that you can choose from, which are Chocolate, Cream Cheese and Custard. Just the churros itself was good enough already but sometimes you just have to add something to your churros to make it even better! I loved cream cheese filling and it was creamy and rich. They were really generous with the fillings!
Stick Churros (RM9.90) - There are three flavors (Chocolate, Cinnamon and Cheese) for you to choose and you can mix up to two flavors. If you cannot decide which flavors to choose for their Street Churros, feel free to order their Stick Churros and you can try more flavors! If you are into savory churros, you will sure like their cheese churros.
Churro Fries (RM7.90) - Three flavors: Sour Cream, Tomato and Seaweed. I had not heard of churros fries and this was my first time eating it. This is their latest creation and I loved it! I can eat this as snack every week and not bored of it. I tried their Seaweed and Sour Cream Churros Fries and I loved both of the flavors. They were savory and crispy like how French fries are.
Ice Cream Churros (RM7.90) (+RM1 for topping) - You can choose the plain flavor or add some sweetness to your ice cream. There are three types of toppings: Choco Choco, Choco Berry and Mango. Warm churros with cold vanilla soft serve were the best combination! My friend and I ordered the Choco Berry topping as this topping is their best-selling topping.
Fruit Ade (Only Iced) (RM7.90) - Passionfruit Ade, Passionfruit Peach Tea, Lemon Ade and Korean Citron Ade (From left to right). My friend and I really liked the Passionfruit Ade. It was fruity, sour and refreshing. Fruit Ade is perfect for this hot weather in our country.
