Common Man Coffee Roasters (CMCR) from Singapore finally opened in KL on early of October! It is located in a building called Plaza Vads, TTDI KL. At first, they just opened a part of their shop to sell coffee and croissants. A lot of people came to this cafe to try their coffee and i can see pictures all over instagram. Then, they expanded their shop and started serving cafe food on 28th of October.
Don't judge the book by its cover. The door might be small but inside is huge.

My sister and I reached here at around 3pm. There were not many customers because it was weekdays. Thank god I do not need to queue up and wait. We chose to sit near the big window as it has really good lighting. I heard that there are many customers during weekends. So if you plan to go on weekends, you might wanna go early.
They are famous for filter coffee too.
They have brunch and lunch menu and consist about 15 dishes to choose from. They serve desserts too! I saw a lot of people ordered their churros and pancakes. You don't wanna miss these out! Their food price range is from RM25 onwards.
If you realize there is a coffee called 'UnCommon' and the menu said you have to ask their staff. I asked the staff and he told me that 'UnCommon' (The third one) is filter coffee. I am not a fan of filter coffee so i did not order that.
White/ Cappuccino (RM12) - They have a coffee bar, so their coffee is great. It was good and tasted like premium coffee. It had strong coffee taste and the aroma was so nice. The latte art was pretty and had a smooth touch. You can request them to use low fat milk. It is worth the price and is almost the same price as other cafes.
Common Man Full Breakfast (RM39) - Two free-range organic eggs in any style (poached, scrambled or sunny side up), homemade smoked chicken sausage, vegetable rosti, cherry tomatoes, wild mushrooms, minted sour cream with honey rye bread. You can ask for multi-grain bread too. Actually, there should be streaky beef in this dish. Since I can't eat beef, i changed to chicken sausage. Overall, this was really flavorful and very filling. The bread was soft, tomatoes and mushrooms were well seasoned, chicken sausage was cooked perfectly and it won't break apart when you cut it. I recommend sharing this dish with a friend. I felt that this dish was on the pricey side but it was worth a try.
Omgg look at that egg yolk! You guys should choose poached eggs. Their eggs were poached perfectly.
I love their interior design and friendly staffs. I really love their plates and coffee cups too! Btw, no wifi is provided at the moment. If you park your car in Plaza Vads and spend at least one hour in CMCR, you can get free parking.
P.s This is based on my own preferences. It may be different compare to other people.
